Today is Michael's final day of round two of chemo. He survived remarkably well with very few side effects. He's tired, has headaches and diminished appetite but that's really all that's bothering him. I think he's very lucky to have made it through these first 2 rounds without suffering from some of the awful side effects they warned us about. Tuesday we head up to Madison to see the doctors there and I am very much looking forward to it! Hope everybody has a great holiday weekend!

Sister - I wish with all my heart that we could rescue you & Michael! My prayer for you is found in 2 Chron. 16:9 "the eyes of the Lord search to & fro throughout the whole earth, seeking to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart belongs to Him". We're praying God's strength to cover you & Michael today. XXOO Lizzy
ReplyDeleteJerryl & Mike I wish I could tell you that everything will be fine, but there are going to be so many ups and downs...Hug the up and stay strong for the down...keep faith. Believe me, it's the only way to get through this. BTW I saw Mike yesterday, and I think he is coping. Good for him! Close your eyes, take a deep breath and make memories together.
